12+ count Armadillidium vulgare “American magic potion”
The “magic potion” morph of Armadillidium vulgare is an expression of the dalmatian gene, showcasing a white almost translucent base with yellow spots that are unaffected by the gene because the gene only affects dark pigment. The American line is differentiated from the Japanese line by the appearance of larger yellow patches. Also, the American line sometimes has orange spots instead of black. They were thought to have been crossed with vulgare "orange vigor" at some point in order to produce this color. It have been observed that American MPs reproduce at a slower rate than the Japanese line.
