Moss covered sticks are collected from the our chemical and pesticide free property in Cowlitz county Washington, soaked and air dried before bagging up to ship to our customers.
Moss is essential for all isopods! We air dry our lichen sticks with minimal forms of sterilization to provide the most nutrient rich lichen possible.
*You may sterilize your items upon arrival if you are worried about unwanted hitchhikers. We suggest freezing your bag for 48-72 hours prior to use if you are concerned about introducing contaminants into your enclosures.
