12+ count Armadillidium klugii "Dubrovnik"
Armadillidium klugii “Dubrovnik” is a stunning example of the diverse color spectrum found in isopods. These creatures are descendants of a specific population of klugii that was discovered near Dubrovnik, in the Balkans. Some exhibit a distinctive red coloration that spans across their segments, often accompanied by yellow or white spots. Occasionally, we also see “high red” individuals, which are entirely red throughout.
Klugii thrive in temperate to semi-arid environments. However, they may face challenges in molting in tropical regions. Additionally, they have a preference for consuming soft-bodied plants.
*You will receive a variety of sizes ranging from juvenile to adult, we only include isopods that are fully colored in the counts.
