The species "Ember Bee" is one of the largest and most manageable members of the "Merulanella" group of isopods that originates from Vietnam. Additionally, this species displays a variety of captivating and aesthetically pleasing morphs, making it a popular choice among enthusiasts. It was previously referred to as "Merulanella" sp. "Ember Bee".
