These are "temperate" Folsomia candidawhite springtails, our starter culture is 100+ count per container. We culture our temperate springtails in charcoal for easier distribution across multiple enclosures, but we may ship them out on a variety of different substrates. If you are wanting something specific, please let us know!
Springtails are essential members of any bioactive clean up crew. No enclosure should be without them! Springtails keep mold at bay and work in harmony with isopods, eating decaying plants, excess food sources and waste products. They are easy to care for as they do best at room temp (but can handle a wide range of temperatures) and they reproduce quickly for maximum benefits!
